Here are LRT New Operating Hours in PSBB Period

PT. LRT Jakarta re-adjusted LRT operating hours during the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period. This policy was taken to support Jakarta Government in suppressing COVID-19 spread.

Operating hours started from 5:30 AM to 7 PM for the third period which started from September 21 onwards

"Operating hours started from 5:30 AM to 7 PM for the third period which started from September 21 onwards with 20 minutes headway on weekdays and weekend," said Bintang Kemal, Acting General Manager (Plt) of LRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Tuesday (9/22).

According to him, operating hours in the third period are shorter than the previous periods, where it was operated at 5:30 AM-9 PM on the first period (September 14-16) with 10 minutes headway and 5:30 AM-8 PM on the second period (September 17-20) with 20 minutes headway.

There was also change in LRT capacity and departure schedule during PSBB with total 30 passengers per train or 60 passengers in one LRT series.

"As our commitment in reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission, LRT Jakarta always prioritizes health protocols and service standards through LRTJ BISA (Clean, Innovative, Healthy, and Safe) service by ensuring high standards of hygiene, providing hand sanitizers, maintaining safe distance, and innovating in providing touch-less payment services," he explained.
